Aquila adds RAUCH to its global brands portfolio and begins the national distribution of the Austrian company`s products

Aquila will start distributing at national level, from January 1, 2022, the products of RAUCH, one of the leading producers of juices and fruit drinks in Europe. The agreement covers all distribution channels, including fuel stations, modern trade and, starting in the near future, the traditional retail channel, and comes after the strategic reorganization of RAUCH.

"Through this agreement with RAUCH, we are expanding our portfolio of global brands with a new, important name in the FMCG sector and thus capitalizing on the extensive network that we have built over time which places us on the first place on the distribution market. Thus, we continue the strategy to develop and optimize our network and to diversify the range of distributed products and we are preparing for the expansion through the acquisitions, a move that we announced when we successfully listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. From this perspective, the year 2022 will be a very dynamic one for us", said Razvan Bagherea, Director of Organization and Human Resources, Aquila.

"We are very glad that we can expand our presence on the Romanian market with the help of a strong partner at national level such as Aquila. Our products are recognized all over the world for their quality and we are sure that in Romania they will find their place that they deserve in consumer preferences, in condition of intense competition. Our wide range of products covers a large variety of tastes, from children drinks to fruit nectars and coffee-flavored drinks, products already known to consumers in Romania," said Daniel Wuestner, CEO Rauch Fruchtsaefte GmBH.

RAUCH is an Austrian company with over 2050 employees, which registered sales in 2021 of over 1 billion euros and which is present in over 100 markets around the world. The company owns 16 factories and 12 brands. Among these we mention Bravo, Happy Day, Cafemio and  Yippy.
